Cyber Playbook 2015 offered a mix of offensive and defensive players in the cybersecurity space. Government initiatives like the White House Cybersecurity Sprint and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation programs have become commonplace due to increasingly aggressive cyber-attacks on agencies and their personnel. Despite efforts to improve the government's ability to thwart these attacks, insider threats, malware, phishing, advanced persistent threats, and zero-day attacks are continuing to threaten our national security.
During the 2015 Cyber Playbook event, we showcased government cyber all-stars and heard about the challenges of getting ahead of cyber-crooks, and their methods for making sure we're prepared for future attacks.
